As a humble family business that started 70 years ago, popularly known as AMW now a fully-owned subsidiary of Al Futtaim Group (AFG) of United Arab Emirates, is one of the pioneers in the Automotive industry in Sri Lanka.
We are looking for a Head of Engineering to join our team. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure that all machinery is maintained in an ideal state in line with the operating plan and budget
Manage and improve Overall Equipment Efficiency indicator for the factory
Ensure that machinery installation projects are carried out on time, as per budget and safety standards of the company
Take appropriate steps to improve quality and productivity of the operation through manufacturing excellence practices
Optimize the energy utilization in the operation.
Ensure that Engineering staff is adequately trained and are of a proper skill level to ensure high quality of maintenance activities.
Job Specification
The Key Requirements
Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent University or Institute.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7- 10 years Managerial experience.
Professional Qualification in Project Management is preferred
